It appears that reality stars are now becoming fashion designers. There are several celebrities who started out on reality television shows and now have successful clothing lines. Here are some of the more popular clothing lines from reality stars.
Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie has probably the most popular clothing line as well as accessories line for any reality star. Richie’s Winter Kate clothing line as well as her House of Harlow shoes and accessories line has been her main focus for the past few years. She no longer does reality shows and has changed quite a bit since having her children. She is now seen as a serious fashion designer and a fashion forward celebrity. Here Winter Kate collection is full of flirty and feminine blouses and dresses with a little edge put in with leather jackets and mini-skirts. Her line is available at boutiques across the country as well as at several online boutiques as well.
Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad made her start on the Laguna Beach reality that aired back in 2004 on MTV. She was then given her own reality series on MTV called The Hills. On the show it showed Lauren going to fashion school and working towards having her own career in the fashion world. Recently Conrad released a clothing and accessory line at Kohl’s department store. The line features trendy and fashionable clothing and accessories for women. You can find blouses, dresses, skinny pants, and sweaters in her current clothing line.
Whitney Port
Whitney Port is Lauren Conrad’s friend from the reality show The Hills. When she moved to New York she got her own MTV reality show called The City. The show followed Whitney as she made her way in the city finding her own path in fashion. Port has the Whitney Eve clothing line which has been made famous from celebrities like Paris Hilton, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alexa Vega. Her current line has a mixture of southwestern and Aztec prints and patterns. She has trendy, cutting edge clothing but also has some classic pieces like a wrap dress and a maxi skirt thrown into the collections as well.
